Participants may arrive without preparation. Start with the verses and offer space to listen or pass.

| 0–10 min | Recite all ten ayat. Invite everyone to mute while the audio plays. |
| 10–30 min | Work through the tafsir units. Keep the opening letters brief; acknowledge the reported interpretations without presenting one as consensus. |
| 30–45 min | Use Q1: the Book’s purposes, Q2: just weighing, and Q3: gratitude. Open with Q3 if that helps newcomers join in. |
| 45–55 min | Tadabbur: choose one prompt. Explain that the silence is intentional and allow private reflection. |
| 55–60 min | Du’a and close. Preview ayah 11 for the next session. |
Welcoming the group
Explain ayah (verse), tafsir (explanation), tadabbur (reflection), and du’a (supplication) at first use. Share the verses and discussion links in the meeting chat. Avoid asking anyone to disclose personal struggles.
Teaching with care
Note
Distinguish the verse translation, attributed commentary, and personal application. Use the source text when quoting a narration verbatim.
Note
For 7:4–5, keep discussion grounded in the text and its tafsir. Do not assign divine judgment to a present-day disaster.
Note
For 7:8–9, focus on the certainty and justice of the weighing. The packet does not teach physical descriptions based on unestablished reports.
Note
The hadith selections retain their attributed sources and gradings. The program’s rule is to exclude weak or unestablished narrations.
Review before teaching
The revised explanations and reflection prompts still need facilitator review. Confirm the paraphrase of al-Qurtubi on 7:1, the treatment of haraj, and the distinction between source explanation and application. No reviewer has been attributed yet.
