What two purposes does the verse name for the Book? Read the verse before sharing your answer.

Personal applications, separate from the verse translation and tafsir.

  • Read 7:2 in its address to the Prophet . It identifies the Book as a warning and reminder. As a personal reflection, consider how you can receive guidance with attentiveness.
  • Spend two quiet minutes reflecting on the just weighing in 7:8. What small good action would you like to keep doing?
  • Reflect on the acknowledgement in 7:5. Is there a wrong you can acknowledge and begin to put right while you have the opportunity?
  • Complete this personal reflection: “One provision I am grateful for is … One way I will respond this week is …”
